When it is about losing weight or slimming down, people wish to get instant results. But getting an instant result in such a case never happens. Even when you are wearing a corset, it can offer you an immediate result when you are putting it on. But as soon as you take off, you are back in your own shape.
If you are wearing a waist training corset, again, you need to wait for quite some time to get the results. When you have training your waist, you need to be patient as you can feel the slow yet gradual results.
The Seasoning Time
If you have bought a new corset with the aim that you will get slimmed down with a month for a wedding to attend, you will surely get disappointed at it. Corsets do not work like this. It works in different steps, and the very first step is seasoning. You have to give it some time to season along with your body to start working on your body in the right way.
Ideally, seasoning takes 1-2 weeks. But this may be different from one person to another. While for someone, the corset may get seasoned in just one week, for someone else, it may even take a month. If you try to tighten the corset without seasoning it with your body, two major things will happen.
- The corset can get damaged.
- You can hurt yourself badly.
The Gradual Training
Waist training has to be gradual and on a schedule so that you can get proper results. After it has seasoned well with your body, you can start tightening the laces a bit more each passing day. Do not try to tighten the corset laces immediately after thinking the corset has seasoned well with your body. This will again hurt you, and you might end up losing hope in it.
The best way to tighten the lace is by tightening it slightly every 2-3 hours if you are wearing the corset for the whole day. In between, you can also loosen up the laces for a couple of minutes to take a break and then can start up the training once again.
The Time You are Wearing
If you wish to see results quite faster, you need to wear the waist training corset for long hours. The longer you are wearing the corset, the faster the corset will offer you the results. But again, wearing the corset for more than 20 hours on the very first day is not possible. Hence, you need to get into the practice gradually by increasing an hour each day.
For example, if you are wearing the corset for 4 hours today, you can increase it to 5 hours 2-3 days later and then 6 hours again after 2-3 days. When you keep adding hours to the schedule, you will soon reach a day when you can wear the corset for the desired number of hours. Just make sure that you are comfortable wearing the corset. If you are not comfortable in the corset, this will mean that the corset is not working properly, and this might not show up proper results.
The Time You are Wearing
Just wearing the waist training corset is not going to help show results fast. You also need to follow a particular health regime along with the training of your waist.
The Diet: The corset exerts pressure on your abdomen and makes you eat less. But this does not mean that you will keep on eating junk in place of healthy food. You need to intake healthy food items such as carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and other beneficial nutrients. You have to cut short the intake of junk food. The healthier food you are eating, the faster results you can see with the corsets.
Exercising: Along with the diet, you also need to burn your calories. Of course, the corset is doing its task of reducing the waist. Still, if you are looking for much faster results, you should accompany the waist training with some mild cardio exercises. You can go for long walks during the mornings and evenings. You can also start certain activities such as cycling, swimming, or even dancing to burn your calories.
Waist training corsets are surely a great option to help you in not just trimming your waistline but also in reducing your weight. But the duration that it can take for showing up results depends upon several factors. Follow the right routine and the right methods of training your waist with corsets. You can surely get to see the results in your waist dimensions and your weight much faster.
